Hi there, I've been playing bass for a couple of years now and have always just used tabs or my ear. These days me and my brother are trying to play a few songs meant for piano, him with guitar and me bass.
I figured (perhaps naively) that I could just read the f-clef and he the g-clef and that would be that.
I figured I'd try to write the song up in Guitar Pro just for kicks and I hit upon a little problem.
This is the first part of the song:

It sounds off, am I just making to basics mistakes here to count or what? Like is the piano f-clef way different from the bass guitar one or what?
Heeelp please!
