Some Q's about Stain and Defret.

Hey i gave my bass a defret. then filled the fret slots, then stained it with rosewood.
i also staind the bottom of the neck. It ended up being kind of a sunburst with it darker on the outsides. I was wondering if i should just stain the bass body to. For a darker look. Maybe even attempt a light sunburst. Looking for some advice/ opinions.

I have included some photos of the defret, the stained part of the neck, and some body shots. Let me know what you think of the defret. and should i poly coat the neck?

The few de-frets I've done, I've used epoxy, you'd be surprised how tough a fingerboard has to be on a fretless!!!

But that looks great!!! I wouldn't touch the stain one bit!!!
