Someone help me identify a Jazz Bass

I wanted one when they first came out and had the chance to play one but didn't jump on it.
A week later it was gone and at the time I didn't want to risk buying one online.
Next thing you know, I couldn't find one anywhere...it was obviously one of those Fender Limted Editions that actually is a limited edition...120 made.
They look very nice in real life. Finish has a nice glow to it and like you noticed, the matching headstock puts it over the top.

Im honestly just looking for a Jazz Bass that gets me to that type of tone from the video i linked, then i'd be happy.
Edit: Actually just listening back to it, its got that kinga glyk kind of bass tone that i also really love, so now i get why im so turned on by this sound. Just dont know what makes it.

I have a Jazz Bass style bass with 70s spacing and ive done a poopon of experimentation regarding EQing Amps, Pickup height and blend, strings. I could go on, but ive realised im just not getting the tone im looking for out of that bass.
Never owned a Fender but i think thats what i will need to achieve that tone. i know i want 60s spacing.

Being a Fender (of any level) or Squier or ______ is less the issue. A basses sound comes 1st from the pu's. The right pu's for your ears should get you the sound you want. There are many out there so the trick is finding the right pair. Part of the journey to landing your tone.

I'm not clear on 60's vs 70's spacing - are you referring to the bridge pu position? If so it can make a (very small) difference - but may not magically deliver the sound you are after.

Not really trying to dissuade you from seeking another bass - I'm a firm believer of the "once you find it you'll know" kind of thing. But I also have witnessed someone else playing a bass I didn't think sounded the way I wanted suddenly sounding that way in someone else hands. Food for thought...

Oh, I got that - it's just when I hear 'spacing' I think of string spacing. I usually refer to the two different pu locations as 'positions', 60's bridge pu position or 70's bridge pu position. Just wanting to be clear. :)
