I don’t even know where to begin in trying to explain how these sounds and what I can do with them.

2 hours today just gone, gone into squelchy fuzzy madness, I’ll never need another synth pedal again.

Pixelwave gets even better when you read the manual and put it into bass mode.

The Noise Theory for those interested is a fuzz pedal with adjustable hpf, lpf and waveform (then gain, tone, compression and volume of course) and most importantly mix so no matter how crazy I can blend the clean back in.

It has a load more features but as a fancy fuzz pedal it’s ticking a lot of boxes for me.

I got one because of this thread. So far I've been really digging it! I have a Jordan Bosstone style fuzz in my band that sounds otherworldly when recording, but it loses a solid fundamental/oomph live. Even though it's a "fuzz of the future," I was actually interested in how well the Noise Theory replicated the clipping/rectifying of old '60s octave fuzzes in parallel with a strong low-end analog fuzz. It does that trick very nicely.

I love their stuff. Sometimes it’s a mess to get through all the choices but they make great gear.
