In 1980 I heard singer/songwriter Michael Hurley for the first time on record. I had read glowing reviews of his records for a decade but they were impossible to find in stores. I fell in love with his songs and started seeking out every other record that I could find.
Three years later I started playing in his band, fast forward another 12 years and I played bass on his 1995 album Wolfways.
