Does anyone have any experiences with these? Its carved, so thats a +. But its chinese made.

What are they like?

Is it a good thing that you have to glue the neck on?

The BEST thing you could do for yourself is to stop with the Ebay and get to a proper bass shop. KC Strings isn't too far from Omaha.

i know its not that far, but I do not have a car, and my parents wont drive 10 miles to see a bass.

I really like most of the one's I've met. I usually don't care much for their cuisine, unless it's VERY fresh and it is best ordered in San Francisco....IMHO.

If you wanted to use a figure of speech, you should have said 100 or 200 miles.

10 miles is tough, but definitely bikeable.

...and if you don't have a car or live where there is public transit and your parents won't drive you, I don't think Doublebass is a good choice for you any way.

You might want to think about trumpet or flute or maybe a guitar with a backpack gigbag.

I'm no expert & my DB is not the greatest, but I think MONsteRecurrl may have been joshing.

Edit: Slightly more on-topic, if the trip is 'mostly uphill' then the trip home would be a piece of cake.
