Double Bass Song double basses

...and if you don't have a car or live where there is public transit and your parents won't drive you, I don't think Doublebass is a good choice for you any way.

You might want to think about trumpet or flute or maybe a guitar with a backpack gigbag.

I think you would be INSANE to not buy this instrument right this second. It is clearly the best sounding bass on ebay.

A bass is a bass; bunch of air covered with a thin layer of wood.

i believe you are the guy that just bought the DIY bass. please, stay out of this discussion until you have a little more experience with this instrument. this is a totally misleading statement.

I'm no expert & my DB is not the greatest, but I think MONsteRecurrl may have been joshing. :)

Edit: Slightly more on-topic, if the trip is 'mostly uphill' then the trip home would be a piece of cake. :D

You must be joking... careening downhill with a new DB over your shoulder, free bow in your teeth, bonus bag flapping like a sail behind you... a troll hiding in the ditch waiting to epoxy the neck back on should you crash.

Nope, doesn't sound like no picnic at all. Best wait and save more money.
