I was wondering if any one could help me out I'm not a bass player and don't have a bass guitar. I'm recoding a cover of leather and lace with my fiance for our wedding but in the style of the dookie album. I've recorded my baseline on guitar and did my best thru pitch shifting and effects to make it sound like a bass guitar but its still kinda lame. I know it's a long shot but I was wondering if anyone could record a bass track for me that I could use. Any artistic changes you would make would be great I wouldn't mind if you changed the entire baseline a real players input would be awsome. Anyway if anyone could do this for me that would be amazing not sure what I could afford to pay but a half hour from a real bass players time is probably better than what I've come up with in a month lol. Sounds like fun! I can help - the only caveat is it'll have to be after the first of December as I am traveling for turkey day and won't be back until then. If anyone else is able to do it sooner that's cool.

Cool. I'm going to see if I can drop this into my Daw. I moved a while back and haven't set up all of my recording gear yet. If all goes well..you might be in business. I'll see what I can do.

Yes he is doing it for me but thank you very much! lll be sure to post the final song when's it's done most likely a couple months from now I'm waiting on some equipment but I've had great experience with this forum it was very unexpected to get such a great response from people. It's actually got me into making music and recording again I haven't done it at all for about ten years. I'm going to be doing more songs and probably re-record some of my old songs from back then just for fun. Thanks again to everyone for their generosity it's nice to see a forum where people are actually interested in making music and not just arguing about it online.
