I Love This Song! It's all I know about 'Teenage Fan Club', but I promise that that's going to change soon. My wife and I went to Athens (GA) to see a very cool New Orleans-turn-of-the-last-century jazz band...Blair Crimins and the Hookers!...and stopped along the way to catch a few innings of the World Series. A local radio station was giving away one of those compilations with a title that came across like "Here's some cool music that we play that no one else plays"...and, exhausted after digging The Hookers, starting at midnight, we popped it in on the way home. GAWD I know she was really tired of hearing cut #6 over and over and over on the way home...because she told me so. That was two or even three Octobers ago. I learned it...even learned how to sing it...and then, kinda, filed it away. Thanks for the kick in the musical pants!
