About 40 years ago I worked the follow spot during an Asleep At The Wheel concert at a local venue. They were fantastic. I didn't know Ray Benson was so tall, like 6'7".
The opening act was a band I had played guitar with but had left about a month before for an opportunity to play bass. That was kind of strange.
