Songs I do not want to play

In my band, we a have a problem. We have planned to make a tribute gig to the 90s music... but none of us like Nirvana. And we know that at least one of their songs will be required... we are struggling in trying to find one that we can play without feeling unconfortable. By today, "All apologies" is the one that we found less embarrashing to play, out of the ones that we have tried.

Aneurysm or Heart Shaped Box are about the only other ones to add to that.

Last time I heard this the DJ put an apology over the air straight after... its a shocker lyrically.

One of my friends that played keys enjoyed busting this gem out to close down sets, made everyone mortified and ashamed all at once.

Why not Come as you are? Everybody likes it and it's dead simple, musically, with wailing vox that are a blast to perform.

That was my suggestion, but the guitar player and the singer prefered "All apologies". We have another rehearsal this evening, and the drummer will be back -last week he was out for working reasons-, I will try to put him on my side
