Songs that suprised you with difficulty

Any song heavily requiring good timing. Simple, slow, one note grooves full of eight note rests and dotted eight rests on off beats KILL me. Stuff counted like:

1 (e) (+) a (2) (e) (+) a... ect.

I agree on the Lynyrd Skynyrd tunes. No two bands play them the same or correctly. I play in a 3 piece band and have to cover both the bass lines and some guitar lines in Gimme Three Steps and Simple Man

A couple tunes that I found more difficult than they sound are these two.

Agree on The Police. The verse for "Spirits in a Material World" is hard to play by itself, to add the singing over top is practically an exercise in futility, don't know how he does that one.

Footloose bassline is awesome, I am going to learn that one ASAP.

Always been a fan of Duran Duran basslines. Rio is still one of my favorite to play. Also love the bassline for "Save a Prayer". I use a fretless for that 'cause I always thought it had that sound, but, after watching the Classic Albums, it is actually played on a fretted (with a bunch of studio wizardry).

we play last dance by Donna, it took a minute to figure it out, I learn by ear and a lot of the recordings are crap and had to hear!
