I've been prowling my local craigslist lately looking for some new gear and came across someone selling a Peavy Firebass 700 and a Sonic 6x10 for $300. I've found lots of info on the Firebass which seems to be fairly favorable but nothing other than two Harmony central reviews. Anyone have any experience with these cabs? Theo two reviews were quite positive but I tend to take Harmony Central with a grain of salt and trust your oppinions ;)

Sonic makes great stuff. Mostly PA equipment for Club installs. They use eminence speakers.

Probably will be heavy, but it will be very sturdy. About as heavey as ampeg, but more rugged and probably more wattage handling. I would assume the 610 would be more like the ampeg 810 and less like the ampeg 610HLF or 410HLF.
