SonoBus

personally speaking, I love jamming with other musicians, I don't know that I am any good, but its fun. one way i've found to do this is actually done via the internet. theres something called SonoBus and i'll share it here with yall on tb. from their website, "SonoBus is an easy to use application for streaming high-quality, low-latency peer-to-peer audio between devices over the internet or a local network." website: SonoBus

Interesting.
I had been using Jamkazam until a recent update really disagreed with my laptop to the point where I gave up trying to get it to work.
Also I felt their subscription model was a bit expensive for the use I was getting.
I'll give this a shot, thanks.

no problem, only thing is you gotta use headphones or figure a way to not use a mic when your playing. like example, what i'll be doing is pluging my amp into my ipad there by bypassing the mic and there for can Monitor via speakers no headphones necessary. this is free and also runs on computers like your after, ipads like I am after and it just works. obviously the farther you get the bigger the delay, like your in Dublin and I am in the US on the east coast, so like if you and I were jamming on there the latency may be a bit higher than say a guy from England would be jamming with you as an example because there geographically closer. however it probably would work say you and I jamming there, the latency though may be like a few milliseconds off causing a few problems, but then again maybe not. it all depends on how good the connections are between the two of us, and also how quickly the traffic passes, there would be some slight delay but I don't know how noticable it would be. but still give it a try and have fun with it.
