Sound in medium size place

There is a test that every band will have live performances every night one band has live .
Last night there was a band that left me just with painful ear that hear zing sound .(I don't know when will this sound go away from my ear ).

The guitarist was using a 100 watt amp ,bassist a 15 watt amp and a loud drummer .
The bassist was fade fully .the guitrisy was so loud with stupid destrotion that was too loud .(the place had 60 sit )
It was more small size that medium size .
The drummer was so loud too .
The band mix was awful .


About three nights from now we will have performance .
I have a 100 watt rumble .

Guitarist has 70 watt amp .

With a drummer .

How can we combine sound the way bass hear well (the roof is so close to ground )
Same time we don't sound that loud that every people in live can't hear our notes .



Is there any way that we would better ?

Like for a 70 watt guitar amp will 100 watt amp work .same time we shouldn't push all 70 because it will be too loud so ,any tips that keep quality same time have better live .

Amps have volume control. Sometimes guitarists and drummers don't. You don't have a gear problem.

In any small space, the major factor is how loud the drummer is. If a drummer is not very loud the rest of the band is usually not that loud. If you have a hard hitting drummer, the rest of the band will turn up to match him/hear themselves.

It takes a pretty skilled drummer to be able to control their volume.

Also, remember that the 'zinging' you hear in your ears means that you've suffered damage to your hearing. Hopefully it will go away. Others aren't so lucky and get tinnitus. For goodness sake, protect yourself or walk out of the club. You'll need your ears for the rest of your life.

If your guitarists has a 70 watt amp and you got a heavy hitting drummer then your 100 watt Rumble may not be enough if those guys don't come down or you may need at least 200 watts. Besides that, you didn't mention anything about vocals if any? they shouldn't be playing louder than the vocals-again if any.

It's instrumental fest ,so no vocal at all .

Being louder than my Rumble will be extremely loud for small area and it won't be enjoyable at all .so I think they should make their amps smaller or lower volume.

You ultimately are at the mercy of your drummer. If they are loud you will have to be loud to be balanced.
