I love my 300DX i love the feel and the neck and the action ive got on it. I love the sound as well allthough i do realise that is could be improved and as such i am comtemplating a few pickup swaps, EMG's and Barts. I like the passive system and i hate the stupid PHat boost:spit: i have never used it and never need it, im going to rip it out and put in something cool, maybe a passive mid roll off.

The bass is great and i really like it but its not a fodera and if thats what your expecting you will only be dissapointed.

Here's my SR3006. The build quality is superb, I really, really like the pre-amp but I didn't think too much of the Barts that came as stock so I had a pair of rosewood covered humbuckers made by Christoph Dolf of Bassculture which really added some meat to the tone. It's a great instrument, the only thing that gets me is the narrow string spacing, 16.5mm, I like a couple of extra mm in there.
