maybe i'm being a pessimist, but I think the amount it would take to send it somewhere would be more than the pedal's worth. kind of bummed I bought it to use it for a project, never used it, shelved it (in the original box), took it out to use and it didn't work. I used it maybe once. Me as an old school person, it's just, I would never buy another pedal from them because of that. (seems shoddy) With all the manufacturers out there of fuzz, distortion type pedals, I'd rather put my money somewhere else. For example, i've had a big muff worked great for years, it's a tank.

Source Audio Aftershock - is there anything it can't do??

Most pedals say "built in the USA" not "made in the USA". There is a big difference.
I have a fair share of SA pedal and this has not been my experience. I recently picked up an Aftershock pedal and can honestly say my search for a dirt pedal for bass is over. It’s a great pedal (probably the best bass distortion pedal IMO) and I urge you to work with SA to resolve any issues you are having. They have always been very responsive to me in the past. Good luck!
I have a slight problem with my Aftershock : sometimes the pedal is "dead" when I power my pedal board. the light is on when I push on the foot knob, but nothing happens. The preset switch does nothing. I have to switch off the power and launch again. Then it works...

tried this for a few days.
i love multiFX, deep menus, and UIs, but i couldn't get into Aftershock at all.

I’ll chime in, that this was an occasional thing that happened with the Aftershock I used to have.
I bought mine years ago thinking I could get a Rat and Muff in one pedal. I've found that the Aftershock doesn't do high gain well. It does well as a tubey, low gain kinda thing.
I now use mine as a no gain, tone shaper at the front of my chain. I think it really livens things up for the big gain pedals that follow. It's always on.

My kind of experience as well. I bought it twice with some years in between, but I for the life of it can't get a sound I like.

This was basically what mine was doing before the foot switch stopped working completely.I tried contacting source audio, but never heard anything back from them. Pretty horrible customer service. Makes a nice paperweight though.
The head honcho at SA posted just before you. @rsmith601 .
Perhaps assistance is available.
They repaired an old sound block for me in the past. Nathan Navarro answered the phone when I called!
As mentioned in my post : the original power supply, thé one that came with the pedal.

All my SA pedals have been super reliable. The hardware design is fantastic. (We can leave aside that there might be some technical things like some older pedals not having a standard MIDI in/thru.)
My LA Lady (another in the Dirty Trinity) is so versatile and adjustable, it is very literally a "insert-your-name-here Signature Pedal" (SA, feel free to use that). I can make it the distortion sound I want, with the adjustment ranges & params I want, save it, repeat 5 more times, and it's my six custom pedals in one pedal.
