The DMC micro was recognized/ connected to the C4 before, and now it’s not? How is the C4 behaving?

c4 works fine on its own. I tried to use a differen usb cable and then when i went back to original settings its not recognizing the dmc
I assume it has to do with the ghost adapter some of the pins in it look bent now

Make sure the dmc is set to device A for the C4, and the C4 is set to midi channel 1. Also make sure you set the dmc to host.

I plugged the ghost adapter in and just did not recognize it. then i look at the ghost adapter and this is what it looked like. IT seems like the pins on the ghost cable are bent now. no idea how this could happen but its super frustrating

Neuro Desktop on MacBookPro seems like either I'm doing something wrong or it won't 1. recognive files downloaded from the community library when I attempt to import. There is of course the chance that I'm just following a bad process... but this is supposed to work right ?

When you click on the presets in the community tab, can you here them through the pedal? When you save to your library, you should only have to click the save button and then be prompted to give it a name, and choose a location.

I think I'm missing something basic. I audition the sound, usually soundcloud. Decide it's for me (like QM's Chaka thing, Yowza!) then hit the download. select a pedal slot, click Import, browse to the downloads folder and ... the file is not selectable.... This is with the USB hooked to the computer and the C4.​

Decide it's for me (like QM's Chaka thing, Yowza!) then hit the download. select a pedal slot, click Import, browse to the downloads folder and ... the file is not selectable.... The import button is more for loading presets from your computer itself. If you click on the preset you want then hit the save or save as button, it should work correctly.

so the file .pre file I downloaded does that load into the editor ? File Open sort of thing ?

I was doing this regularly last fall but this winter was crazy planning and then un-planning a season of sound company work... I have completely spaced the process.

it couldnt be easier. Theres a icon that looks like a fire emoji. Click that and itll let you choose the name and save it to a spot on the pedal

What @drewphishes said, the import export is the long way to do it, and more for saving entire pedal backups of your pedals, in case you need to do a factory reset and want to recall your old setup.

It also dates back to when the Editor was not connected to the Neuro Database and it was the only way to import an external preset.

If I plug it in sepearately I get no whirring so maybe it has to do with my daisy chain trutone?

Yap- happened to me too with the DMC Micro and the C4 on a daisy chain. Like @Gibs210 said it’s the display screen most likely. When used on my Truetone CS12 on different outputs no problem at all.

ah... you have to be logged in... That was the part I was missing....

Mr Gibbs, you have the monster USB Hub in the works for your board... will that allow for a single USB from the computer to the USB hub, and connections to say a Neural Hub, Aftershock, Mercury, C4, Prog EQ 2 and Soleman ? so being able to program the pedals without making a direct connection between the pedal and computer ? If so, I see a hub and cables in my immediate future.
