Source Audio Sourcerers Society (S.A.S.S.) Pt 2

Can we expect a scene saver beta at NAMM? It would be awesome if it came out still in 2013 but I don't see that happening... I'm really itching for the scene saver so I can add the dimension reverb and OFD to my setup.

I predict it will be late fall. We are going to do a limited release at first where you can buy it from us directly. I am a bit overdue in giving an overview of what it does. Sorry about that!

Just got a Dimension.....

Would it be possible to give us a RRP for the scene saver together with the overview?

I did a draft overview on the plane today from LAX to BOS, so that should be out there soon pending Jesse's approval (note that engineering overrules the President at Source Audio!). Also note that this product can be 100 different things. We have tried to keep the 1st version on the more simple side. Jesse and I are VERY familiar with what you all worry about, so I think the first version will address many (but not all) needs.

The hardware is on the simple side. I would hope to be at the $99 price point.....BUT this is an aspiration...not fact.

This will certainly be a cool addition to any collection of SA pedals...especially the SB2 models.

So, I now own a Dimension Reverb, Orbital Modulator, MWBD (SB2) and BEF Pro. What will the scene saver do for me? Is it basically like a midi controller?

From what I understand so far it will be more like a layer between the controller and SA stuff. It will give MIDI connectivity to SB2 pedals but more than I could only speculate.
We have to wait for the spec overview.

This link will take you to the product description of what was formerly known as the scene saver.

Gadget Junky and Skrogh are going to have lots to ponder!

Groovy! Will it pass MIDI Clock messages for use with the BEF Pro? Also, does this render the Multi-Function Out port on most Soundblox pedals obsolete (or at least diminish their importance) or do those outputs need to be hooked up in some kind of loop with this device?
