Would it be feasible to have them do a run of small numbers? Maybe a page of 10 each 0 thru 9 and then you could apply them individually as appropriate?
Hmmm yeah that seems like it would get pretty steep just for a serial number. To be honest I think a neat, hand written serial adds a nice classy custom look on a custom item.
For a logo those really do look nice though.

Yes, that is an electro-formed logo and those were previously supplied in the US by Oudensha America, a Japanese firm.
The company that has taken over US-based sales is DT Metronic (847) 593-0945.

Correct on all counts.
I feel the quality of the electroformed logo rivals an inlay, especially over black.
The dry transfer in matte metallic (I forget the proper name) works on any background color.
That said, the Scary Creative dry transfers are by far the most popular solution out there.
