I feel like this may have been discussed before, but I'm not seeing something in a search.
These parts seem to fail a LOT on tuners:
A- thin washers, typically aluminum or brass
B- thicker washer, typically some kind of plastic.
And yes, some tuners are just easier to replace. HOWEVER - and as is my case - if they are kinda amazing old school tuners which don't have a direct replacement, they are also worth the effort! So that's where I'm trying to find some answers.
Poking through McMaster-Carr, using the sizes provided (A is 6.14mm OD, 4.2mm ID, .5mm thick, B is 7mm/4.15mm/1mm), they don't seem to have anything like this.
There are other washers there - either split steel or rubber in my cursory search - but those won't really do the job.
I even looked at SPACERS, as opposed to WASHERS and there seemed to be even less available.
So is there a source for these parts somewhere else? And by that, I mean not needing to have them custom machined.
ALSO: looking to buy a lot for extras, in bulk, so definitely would prefer not to just buy some kit that is made for 1 set of tuners. Those tend to be rather expensive for what they are.
Thanks for any help!
