SpaceX and other space stuff

Here’s a plea for more federal support for our space program, specifically in the interest of keeping our satellite technological edge secure. May not be for everyone, but I found the argument somewhat compelling, and if it’s a valid point I would think it should be an imperative rather than an opinion. Any thoughts that don’t stray into the no zone?

Good read. My thoughts (that can be shared here),
Yay small business. It is the lifeblood of the US.
Imperative? Yes. There are significant vulnerabilities, some of which have been/are being exploited. The most devastating have not been yet, thankfully.
