Spaghettios - opinions.

I thought they were pretty great until I was about 10, maybe 12. Weenies optional; if it came with them, no harm, no foul. If it didn’t, I didn’t miss them.
Straight from the can was an act of pure desperation. Heating was much preferred.
I’m unable to guarantee that I won’t go try a can now for the first time in over 45 years. I can still remember exactly what they tasted like.
For the record, I tended to prefer Ravioli-Os, but beggars can’t always be choosers. It depended upon what sales were running.

Do you have Sir Walter Raleigh in a can? ( yes, I used to make those calls, back when I had to eat SpaghettiOs )
The only way I'm eating spaghettios is if they are the meal at the end of another long day slogging through a city that once was the peak of human civilization, my trusty mutt dog at my side, keeping watch for the legions of undead still roaming the barren wasteland.....
It's an inferior canned pasta product. Chef Boyardee is for a more discerning palate. A freshly opened can and a fork is all you need for a gastronomical delight.
You added that parenthetical like it would explain something and I only have more questions. I cannot comprehend what those words in that order could possibly mean.
My wife was the office manager for the warehouse of a local grocery chain. She was always bringing home this or that product from cases that were damaged. One of the last things before the chain closed the warehouse was Chef Boyardee ravioli. About 20 cans. Good thing it was something we like.
Australian "panini" or grilled sandwich would have been a more suitable description.

I have never been hungry enough to eat spaghettios and I hope to never be that hungry. My first wife ate 2 or 3 cans of them a day and they had to have meatballs.
There's a few cans stashed in my emergency pantry, plus raviolis, and of course some>>>. SPAMMMMM!!

Ate a lot of Spaghettios and also much of the Chef Boy-ar-dee stuff as a kid thru my teens. Then went several decades without ever eating them.
But as they say, everything comes back into style, Spaghettios are now in my pantry as a back-up, for those times when I hungry enough to eat something but not hungry enough to make (or order) a full meal. They fill the void at those times.
