Rufus Philpot's Chestnut Spalt Ibanez Custom Shop. Oh, would it be Ibanez made more basses like this: Nordstrand Big Splits, Aguilar 18V (Volume, Blend, Bass, Mid, PASSIVE Tone Control, passive/active switch, coil split switch,) Acrylic Ramp, Pau Ferro fretboard, Willis Tri-Wing tuners, etc... :scowl: :

Best....Ibanez....EVER!

Munji, I think you left your bass in the back seat of your car while ran off to do a set with a Sadowsky. It's all drippy now.

...and yet still better than a Wishbass. :smug:

Seriously. At 18mm spacing it would bring me back into the fold. Right now I'm simply trying to find if Willis' "tri-wing" tuners are still for sale. He used to sell them from his site, but no joy anymore. I've dropped him a line to see if that's still possible - I'd like to set up my Spectors with them.
