I PM'd 2 mods over a month ago, and they never answered back so I assumed it was ok to post this. I looked over the rules, and im not trying to sell anything, so I figured this would not be against any TalkBass Rules. If im wrong, I apologize and mods can delete this thread.

You guys are being pretty harsh, if you don't want to join then don't, but there is no need to give the guy bad remarks like that.
You needn't contact mods about this, you need to contact Paul. He's got the final say, and I don't think he would approve.
Not to mention plenty of illegal topics there: warez, weed, other drugs, etc. I wouldn't want to be a member. Sorry.

Well, it's not for everyone. Oh, and it's not illegal to talk about weed and other drugs lol.
Your thread may not be technically wrong or illegal etc etc, but as open minded as I am about those topics it just doesn't seem like the right place to promote it.
You have to look at the audience on here. There are members of all ages and talking about susbtance or creating links isn't a /cool idea.
I'm not being a smarta** but you should consider what people are saying as an ethical thing.
