Sparkle/candy paint jobs.....who is still doing them?

Hey all! A hand full of years back I had Marty Bell refinish my Modulus Flea in silver flake. It is the best flake paint job I have ever seen in my life. Is Marty still doing any work at all? I sent an email yesterday but haven't yet heard a reply (I know, I could stand to wait longer but wondering if anyone knows how much he is still doing if at all).

My ONLY regret is that I didn't get blue done, which this body was originally and for sentimental reasons. I have recently learned that a lot of flake finishes start off as silver flake, are clearcoated to a depth that thoroughly buries the flakes (the state mine is now) and is then sanded an layers of colored clearcoat are added to change the color. Similar to how candy apple red is usually a gold base and a red clearcoat. This is how all those awesome lowriders are painted - silver flake with different colors of candy clearcoat on top.

I would LOVE for marty to do the candy coat on this to make it blue flake. But if he isn't available would anyone know of current shops that do top shelf work and reasonable turnaround time? I may also send the neck in to get the headstock matching, depending if I can source an original/accurate modulus logo to replace the current one.

Here it is now (silver flake) and an AI rendering of what it would look like with a candy blue clearcoat applied:

Last I knew Marty was done because of vision issues.

Been awhile since I've heard this tho.
Yeah, his website says (and has said for a while) that he is in semi-retirement due to his vision and is picking and choosing work. It says when he is no longer accepting any work at all the site would reflect that. But it has said that for a long time. I would love for him to be the one to color his work which is absolutely art, but will also consider other talented painters who specialize in this type of stuff if he is unavailable.
