Speaker Area Comparison

On stage, I have ________ speaker surface area than my guitarist.

Yeah, I'm generally at least 100% more than guitar players.
I'd rather carry more gear, and use it lightly, than carry less gear and over-work it.



i have more speaker cone area than both of my band's guitarists put together. they each play thru a 1x12 (a boogie and a fender) and i play thru a 2x15 (Faital 15PR400's), or my 4x12 V4 cab (loaded with 2512's).
 
Me too. I rather have to much than not enough - I think it comes for my boy scouts days (Be Prepared). :D

I've had times where I've had less speaker than the guitarist, but we're not a high volume band. But more often than not, I have grossly more than he does, although I was quite surprised to get a call for a classic hard rock gig recently, and the guitarist brought in two 412's to do a 200 seat room. OK, so I brought an SVT and 810, but he still outclassed me for speaker area ;)
