Well you are still wrong. The Mackie is rated at 600 watts /channel into a 2 ohm load. You are only using 8 ohm speakers, the Mackie is rated at 300 watts a side into an 8 ohm load. The biggest screw up I saw in the other thread was running the signal from the Mackie into a channel on your Carvin. That is so wrong.
this is what i was talking about modulusman...lol its what i have dubbed the behringer syndrome...you market your product at the highest impedance level and/or at peak...for example the EP2000 amplifier, everyone seems to think that this is a 2000w amplifier, but totally wrong unless you are running a 2Ohm load (3-4 speaker cab) and bridged...really its power around 350w per channel....
i think that this kind of marketing from manufactuers is wrong, moreso its wrong of retailers to sell such products with such a delusion....
