speaker replacement....please help!

i have a a gallien krueger backline 210 combo and i am looking to replace the speakers(they have a flakey-crackling sound). i am looking for the deepest, fattest, and smoothest tone/sound i can get fom the head (it's equipped with the backline 600 head). I've looked at a few eminenece speakers...someone suggested the eminence legend bp102. i want something with a sensitvity close to or equal to 100 and a lower end frequency range(>=40Hz). also i want to know if i can configue the head to use its 300w on the 2 new speakers.

thanks

FWIW:

first thing I'd do is verify the issue is the speakers. Best low end is realistically going to be closer to 60 Hz, maybe 80. You have to stick with what works within the cabinet regardless. Typically the box is made to conform to the speaker.

+1. The main limiting factor to low end response is usually the size of the cabinet, not the drivers inside. If you want a big bottom a 2x10 combo just isn't going to give it. The BP102 is a nice dirver, but to operate to its potential it needs at least 3cubic feet, each.
