The speakers need to have similar performance. I have some 15" ceramic drivers I designed for a low SPL application that weigh less than the Neo 15" drivers that I use for higher performance applications.

Right, which is why I said early on that it depends, and I provided a follow-up answer that supports "it depends".

It's the vagueness that supports even more the "it depends" answer.

Nah. Google, especially Google AI, are bad resources for vague questions. Definitive-sounding answers will be provided with no useful substantiation, and will almost certainly be wrong.

If OP has two specific models in mind, they can get the data on those models. If OP wants to know whether all ceramic speakers are heavier than neodymium speakers by the same amount, the simple answer is "no", the better answer is "let's try to narrow the question down to a meaningful comparison".
