Speaker Wire

I tend to make my own cords.
Years back I was about to go to Home Depot to buy some of their bulk 16 gauge for some long speaker cables.
On the way I looked on the side of the street and saw that someone had apparently hit a new extension cord with a mower and just tossed it to the curb.
Turned out to be 14 gauge and I got a 20 footer and a 25 from it.
Ran PA mains on it for years.
Only cost was 4 Switchcraft plugs.

Thanks guys! Since I already had the four Neutrik SpeakOn connectors, I stopped by Home Depot and bought two 25' extension cords with 14ga wires which were on sale. After clipping the 3rd ground wires I installed the connectors using a little blue Loctite to keep them snug. Both cables work great and ended up being much cheaper than what Guitar Center was selling them for.
