Speakon Cable

There are two tabs on the side of a Speakon. One is wider than the other.

I had a cheap one where the wide tab was able to JUST slide into the narrow slot. Which jammed, as expected. I still use that cable, but look at it carefully to make sure that I have it oriented the right way before I plug it in.

+1, but don't equate price with quality either. Even with Neutrik connectors the most you should spend is $10 for the connectors plus $1.50 per foot of cable. More than that and you're overpaying.
