Thanks @dave64o I'ts not Burst, nor Metalflake. Kind of a dark edge fade but not a burst.
It is a L2500 neck, feels familiar. Frets still need a little shave here and there, but sets up flat n low.
Neck adjustment holds nicely.
The Kickass is truly a great bridge.
Easy to adjust, intuitive, stays put.
Intonation is a snap well machined with tight tolerances.
The EMG's are nice and clear, simple to install, DEAD quiet.
VVT setup rather than my usual master Vol / Bal / Tone.
Liking it. The B string is solid, best when favoring the bridge pup. The 130 Tapered B adds to the clarity here I think.
Still trying out strings, so far liking the Sadowsky Blue bright nickles - @ 3 years old used and sitting in a ziplock after a DNA soak and dry ! ( sound the same as they did 3 years ago, good with strong low mids, articulate and punchy)
