Do the bridge and fretboard match pretty good?
I think it will work. At the moment it looks kinda big to me, but I know that will change once pots and pickup and strings are added.

Do the bridge and fretboard match pretty good?
I think it will work. At the moment it looks kinda big to me, but I know that will change once pots and pickup and strings are added.
Not sure if I would actually use this bridge. It’s just kind of an idea. Might use it, or modify it, or just do my own version of that style bridge. Hell, I might not even use the idea at all !

I like it, sorta. It's a cool Carl-Thompson-wooden-bridge vibe, but it looks a bit pre-fab, and not fully integrated into the design...
Yeah, I agree ...I mentioned above, if I went with this kind of idea I would probably modify it or make my own. I just happen to have it so I threw it on there to see what it would look like.
When you first mentioned what to do with the headstock my immediate thought was to cut off the edges and add material to either side. The Ibanez bodies are so small that the tiny headstock works. I think your great design deserves a headstock to match.
Love the body shape. This build really came alive when you contoured the edges of the top.

You may want a bigger headstock, though...the Ibanez one looks like it may be a little small to visually balance the body, and it still looks like an Ibanez headstock imo.
I'm pretty sure It'll look great when you're done, though- your builds always do.
