SPECIAL EDITION COLORS HOFNER IGNITION BB BASSES

I just got my 2nd special edition Ignition Violin bass. This new bass is in the metallic Purple. It was the last one Sweetwater had from their limited stock. Last Christmas I ordered a Pearl White Hofner Ignition. You don't see these colors often because Hofner only puts out the Sunburst and the transparent black models on a regular basis.

I got curious and wondered how many of these Basses were made in each color. I contacted Hofner thru Facebook and found out that in 2018 (the year my 2 violin basses were made.) Hofner only released only 100 of these colored BB Basses in the USA.

This makes the special colored Violin Basses rare.

So, now I would like to see anyone with one of these colored Hofners post a picture and tell us when the Bass was made. (if you know the date)!
