Got my cobalts today from Lima. Gotta play em through the big rig and see how they do. Definatly different than any other strings I've played. They are very mid forward , and funny enough its right in the Spector mid sweet spot. Which is pretty cool. On my combo amp at home though they give up some lows / low mids to the hi beams ,I don't usually play through the combo though so that doesn't mean much. I'll know more tomorrow night. Harmonics do fly off them really well though. Their the only strings I've played that I can clearly get all those in-between harmonics on the same frets ( manering/ jaco style), which is kind of cool. These would probably kill on a fretless. Slightly more tension than hi beams. Gotta hear em through the rig though. I know what that sounds like and how I have it set. So far so good though. We'll put em to the test wear wise as well.

Oh and +1 for Lima. I wouldn't call these used, just pre wound . A+

What kind of microphone would you call this ??? Have any of you ever heard of this brand ? PSR . From the limited info I found on the web it's made by Yamaha in japan . not sure of age , but it is solid brass housing and built like a tank !!!! I'm looking to sell or trade it but can't find enough info to figure a value ....

Never seen that before. Looks like a copy of a EV RE20. Which is a nice bass amp mic. Some of Yamahas early pro audio products were stellar. Not like todays prosumer stuff.

Stick it in your bass cab, see what it sounds like.

Clear, it sounds incredible as a kick mic , bass or guitar cab mic , vox mic , and over head mic .
