ok. so i gave the new gk a whack with a the basses. the legend with the tp in it sounded nice and growly. i was tickled silly. that was the tone ive been wanted to hear. so i busted out the alice in chains goodies and played along. so now it looks like i might have to switch out the haz copy out of the ns-94. hmm....

Whatcha talken about Willis!?!?..That accent?....haha :bassist:
you do have a wicked pissah accent.

That is what I like to hear..... TP thru a GK = winning
My little son likes NS-2 :)
Taken by my wife on iphone today while my home practice. No need to watch all, just first seconds)

So awesome... my son (1) actually helped me dial in some setting on my new pedal board yesterday, lol

On that note... played the pedal board thru the big rig last night for the first time..... HOLY CRAP!! The compressor alone allows me to use my Hartke Attack pedal in a new way and I'm really liking it. I still have 2 more pedals coming my way, but this pedal board really is allowing me to get the tone in my head, and the modulation pedals really add to the musical aspect of being in a band. Thanks again Steve!!!

I ordered a 120-60 set of strings and I need to widen the slots on my nut..... should I just buy a new nut or should I just file it down?

dude, when i turned it up a bit, i just had the s#$t eating grin on my face. the walls rattled and my wife said omg. lol. now im thinking about upgrading both basses a bit. thinking about putting a trim tp in both basses and getting a hipshot brass bridge for the legend and a brass nut :) i cant buy any new basses right now, so i might as well upgrade what i have. oh yeah and get active p/j for the legend ;) heck yeah.

Congrats man! Didnt know that you became father a week ago) That's a lot of fun)

Thanks dude!

Yup, baby girl. She is now 10 whole days old. We also have 15 and 17 year old boys (same wife).:help::D

She is amazing. Move over Tal.;)

Problem is that she still only weighs 66% as much as my Forte, so I might have to rethink my thoughts of her starting her bass virtuoso training right away.;)

Photobucket not working. This came today. Forte4 refinish in Ho Tangerine matte.

Better shot of the inlay decal

THAT LOOKS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bassist: Congrats!!

THE DEATH OF COMMON SENSE

One of many cases of his death. There are others of course......:bawl::bawl::bawl:

I will never be able to get over this...

Nice one! Sounds great and great playing too! :bassist:

well i did it :hmm:, but i love it because i will use it often, i have multiple songs in my band with both standard and drop d tunings and only one bass so this saves a ton of time! Thanks guys for the help! :bassist:

I am thinking about getting a de-tuner as well for my Brooklyn... It sounds thunderous in Drop D :D
