it is a beauty isn't it ? oh man…..how am i going to get ANY sleep until monday is beyond me !!…LOL….

Looks like Flickr has weird url routing, nevermind :) Hope you find out what it is! It's a fantastic looking bass! Bet it sounds killer with the 18v mod as well!

They are at the store but not on display. They are in their cases in the back room.
Very cool....

To be honest? I'm not clicking with it. Carey's selling a Fender Jazz so he can buy it.
I know its a Fender but if anyone has a friend who is looking for one please send them my way....or give me a bump if your in the classifieds please.

I know this probably the biggest no way answer ever, but I've got to ask. Will we be seeing a reverse T-bird signed by a famous artist who's band is going out on their final tour? Or is that in a stainless steel case harden vault that only can be seen through security cameras.
The stryper refinish bass would be a cool one to see as well....have you seen it yet?

Yeah, it took me a while to decide, I was looking at pics here, at spbass.com, on Google.. Finally decided on red haha.

You can't wait? Imagine how I feel! :D

Photobucket is a pretty good service, if a little confusing at times. Just use the IMG line they give. It comes with a url link attached, but you can remove that if you want. I am a pro-grade website guy, btw. I can help with literally any coding needs :)
Yeah the wait time for the USA build can be a killer, no matter how many times a person has ordered. Matte black cherry is gorgeous. I remember when I first join our club several years back, that was a very popular finish then. Still gorgeous today though.

Thank you for the tips Kyle on photoBucket...I just need to take time and really learn the program better. Once in awhile I'll jump onto my MacBook Pro using my iPhone as a hotspot and use photobucket from there which gives me more options. :)

Congratulations! THATS a magnificent beast! Like MDbass said, that's the EMG BQC 3 band EQ pre, a very powerful and highly adjustable pre. Hopefully the pickups are EMG DC's. That will be one mean sound if so.:bassist: And Welcome to our Spector Family!:hyper:

Hey guys, somewhat spector related, part of the deal with me ordering my forte was I had to move a couple of basses , the wimbish went in no time, no surprise there but I have an E series MIJ p bass in the classifieds that's no getting much interest, anyone here interested or can pass it along would be appreciated, thanks

Hi Iceboxbass

many thanks for chipping in & your welcome !
not that it would change my mind about buying it but, i'm paying 700€ for it & it comes w/ a Gator hard case as well - all things considered, would you say it's a fair price ?

i CAN'T WAIT to lay my dirty little paws on it !! :D :D

Hi MD

& thanks for chipping in !

EMG BQC, that is my feeling too, only thing that kindda baffled me were the 2 batteries
as for the Zebrawood, you're right, it is STUNNING !! actually i think after returning home, i'll hang it on the wall, sit on my sofa & will only LOOK at it & not play it !! for a couple of days…….:p :p

The 18 volt mod (2 batteries) just gives it more headroom. Common modification. You can put it back to 9 volt if you want.

Howdy all,

Loving my NS-6H2, but I think I would like to swap out at least one, if not both, of the EMG 45TW pickups. Been reading a LOT on these - I think I may have read every thread that mentions them on Talkbass. Some people are really into them! Others, not at all.

Anyone interested in trading a 45DC for a 45TW? Or a 45DC and a 45CS for both? The original DC and CS are the same impedance as the TWs I have - 10k Ohms, so they would mix better than one of the X series and a TW. Alternatively, I'd also be interested in two 45DCX or a 45DCX and a 45CSX as well.

I usually put some wear and tear on my pickups, but the last guy that owned this bass apparently doesn't at all, and I haven't had long enough with it to put my stamp on it! So these TWs are in great shape - no strings marks on the covers (yet). Let me know if you're interested, and thanks!

Killer zebrawood top!

Definitely not HZ's, but it's impossible to tell what variety of active EMG35's they are without seeing the bass of the pickup housing...the preamp looks like an EMG BQC system: volume, blend, bass/treble stack, mid/frequency sweep stack

Looks like a great find :bassist:

It won't be louder. Just less distortion when you dig in to the strings.
18v is a cleaner signal.
9 volt has more growl than the 18volt mod.

Yeah, my guess is an EMG DC setup with an 18v EMG BQC. That's the setup I went with for my ReBop (Except I have 40Js). The 18V is nice for the extra headroom. I have mine set up so I can switch it from 9v to 18v just by removing one of the plug in leads. Just so I can play with it. :D

Now, if I could only get my neck back...here's hoping next week. :P
