Yeah I meant to say photobucket is what I use also. I didn't know you could repost any size you want though. Hmmm. I mostly use my iPad for posting and most everything as the only internet we have around these parts is AT&T LTE. :ninja: Thanks! :)

My 'Kramer era' Spector NS-2 has the exact same neck dimensions as Patrick Stern's Brooklyn era #739.

Anyone know when the neck profile changed? My bass was born in June 1986. It was one of the first ones to have graphite rods inserted in the neck, so I know the neck profile did not change at the same time as they started using the rods for added stability.

Interesting to see that the later era NS2a's appear to have the 'shaved neck' profile. I once owned a 'no serial number' (1987?) NS2a that had a much thicker neck back to front.

Anyone care to comment on how these numbers compare to a late era Kramer Spector NS-2?

I guess the next question of "Spector Hang 2014" is how many people are going to bring their ZoomB3s with them and their basses. I know I'm going to bring my B3 and a set of headphones. Since I run DI to the board, I know exactly what my sound is without the Cheap Behringer Head and 2 blown speaker GK 4x10.

So my run down will be the following at "Spector Hang 2014"

ReBop 4 Trim TP at 18v
Legend Classic EMG P/J X's BQC at 18v
ZOOM B3
MXR Blowtorch
The Wife.......literally, my wife.

If I'm strapped for room in the car, everything is listed in order of preference......

I know this probably the biggest no way answer ever, but I've got to ask. Will we be seeing a reverse T-bird signed by a famous artist who's band is going out on their final tour? Or is that in a stainless steel case harden vault that only can be seen through security cameras.

Photobucket is a pretty good service, if a little confusing at times. Just use the IMG line they give. It comes with a url link attached, but you can remove that if you want. I am a pro-grade website guy, btw. I can help with literally any coding needs :)

hi guys

i'm very excited 'cause next monday i'm going to buy a 2nd hand 2008 Spector ReBop 4LX EX, for a VERY nice price & it seems the bass's electronics have been souped-up with pickups & preamp..

not being intimately familiar w/ these basses i was wondering if anyone could help me determine what components are these ? Here are a few photos of my new baby :

The pick-ups are EMG's as well but don't look like 35HZ at all & the preamp is also an EMG, runs on 2 X 9V batteries, has 2 boards + the stacked pots, etc….

I tried identifying the electronics but, no such luck. my Guess is that the EMG preamp is this one :

Killer zebrawood top!

Definitely not HZ's, but it's impossible to tell what variety of active EMG35's they are without seeing the bass of the pickup housing...the preamp looks like an EMG BQC system: volume, blend, bass/treble stack, mid/frequency sweep stack

Looks like a great find :bassist:

EMG BQC, that is my feeling too, only thing that kindda baffled me were the 2 batteries
as for the Zebrawood, you're right, it is STUNNING !! actually i think after returning home, i'll hang it on the wall, sit on my sofa & will only LOOK at it & not play it !! for a couple of days…….:p :p
