Just heard the sad news that Greg Lake died yesterday. Great voice, great bass player and he extensively used Spector's during the eighties. 2016 has taken so many ...

This bass was much prettier in person at BPL. One of the best I have seen.
I bought all the ELP albums back in the day. Definitely a talented musician. Sorry to hear that.
My first ever American made Spector finally arrived. It was lost in transit for a few days.... NS-4H2 ....it's a one off colour called Steelburst in a satin finish with the 'watertank' redwood body and quilted maple top. Maple neck and Pau ferro FB.
I'm still new to Spectors..so I may have some details wrong... plugged it in and it was quite unbelievable actually. It gets dirty as soon as ya dig into it...love it.

I never was a big ELP fan, don't know why but I was more into Montrose, Ted Nugent, Deep Purple, Styx, Journey, Black Sabbath.....I remember listening tp ELP or watching them on some of the late night rock concerts they had on TV
I was also thinking of UFO during this time, didn't Palmer jump over to another band and Powel took his place?

Anyone have any walnut stain Forte or black cherry Forte pics to share? I'm leaning toward a Forte 5 next year. Trying to do a little research.
I listened to UFO, too. They did have one album that was titled Emerson, Lake & Powell.
The walnut and the BC were limite runs. (50 day order windows?) who knows what's available next?
My understanding was that the colors were a no charge option for a limited time but are still available.
