That a spector? Red, on the wall?
So I made a really quick rough mix using my Euro 5 with tonepump pre and the fresh set of Blue Steels.
The bass may be a bit loud in the mix, but I wanted it to sound like a monster truck just crushing everything in it's path
Any and all feedback is welcome!

I got my used spector euro 4lx many years ago, till recently I just found out it actually is 2002 spector euro 4.
Not LX version, and it has an aguilar OBP-1 circuit in it. Although I really don't know what's different between OBP-1 and Tonepump to the sound.

It could be. Tough to see. Single pickup. Not sure of the knob configuration. 1994 would have been SSD periid so it's possible.
I saved the pic and increased the size...cleaned it up with a filter...its still hard to tell but its single pickup and the bridge looks wrong, and the knob configuration is different from a Spector...so its anybody's guess LOL

Both pres are fine. Both 2 band. Slightly different flavor to each. The obp-1 is boost only.
Kind of looks like a ns2000b but they weren't made yet. 94 movie - I think 98 for the bass?

I do like bass spotting in movies and TV. I found my old Gumby Green Factor (I know thats not what they called it but Im sticking to it.) on an episode of Friend's. There was a wedding band for Rachel's ex fiance.
Funny thing is that, used to somebody tells me I can adjust resistor in the circuit to change the tone but when I open my circuit, there is no resistor I can adjust and now I finally know what's going on lol.
luckily OBP-1 also can add a resistor to adjust the Passive tone. I think I will adjust my circuit one day.

I had a Euro 5 LX years ago with the pre-trim pot Tone Pump. I loved how it played, hated how it sounded. I now have an NS-JH5 from 2002 with the OBP-1. It's a very different beast. While it can get snappy and have some growl, it is generally mellower than any other preamp I've tried in a Spector. Definitely has more useful tones than the first gen Tone Pumps, but it's a bit different than that "Spector" sound you get with a HAZ or EMG pre. Not bad though, and I think the highs are at a much more useful frequency than the OBP-2 or OBP-3.
