Spector Club Pt. 3 (Insert Clever Title Here)

Hey guys, I'm gonna be letting my mint amber Euro 6er go. It's in the classifieds, and priced to move quick.
Spector can get you chrome or black hardware. It's not cheep but it is possible.

Well if I get this job done it's going to be a pro setup, so as long as it's available Im good with that!
So very difficult to explain sound in words. Hmmmm...
Very articulate, interesting and warm. Lively too.
The most useful added feature is the sweepable mids that give me the bite, right where I want it. Bass gives boomy and overdrives speakers, treble gives clacky tinny and low mids gives bass.
That's the way I see it anyway
Just as aggressive but a warmer more sophisticated aggression if that makes any sense?
Help me out of my pickle guys.
As you know I just got my Euro 5 yesterday. Which brings my bass total up to four. Five if you include my P Bass (my very first bass), which should be returned to me after a few years missing.
Three of those basses are Spectors. A Legend Classic 4, which was the first bass I bought with my own money, a Spector Legend Custom 5 and the Euro 5. I also have a Gibson Grabber.
Now, Im not an excessive person, normally and I dont like having stuff I wont use,
or wont use as often.
My issue is with the two 5 strings. I only have need for one, they will both be played in the same tuning and used in the same band. I was just going back and forth between playing the two, and I cant seem to decide which one I like better.
They both have things I like about them, both aestheticly and in a playing sense. I like the amber finish on the legend, and prefer the headstock. I love the Spalted Maple on the Euro, but dislike the headstock.
I like the shape and feel of the Euro neck better than the Legend, though I find the frets are more comfortably spaced on the Legend (for my fingers anyways).
Now, I really dont feel the need to have both of them, it would be hard to pass on the Legend anyways, even if there werent things I still liked about its feel.
I know the Euro is going to sound many times better, especially when I swap in the East pre. Though, I could easily pick one up for the Legend as well, bringing up its sound quality many times.
Im not sure what to do, I feel attached to the Legend and I dont want to let it go, but I really feel like it wouldnt get much use. The only way I could see it getting use was if I chose not to bring the Euro out of the house (something I have considered).
What should I do?

IME there's no comparison tone wise between the two and value for money. I'll agree that I did like the spacing and neck feel of the Legend a bit more but any day I'd go for the Euro. But that's just me

Can't help you with a good soundfile, but my fretless is a Spector that originally had frets. It's got the great fretless sound and wonderful intonation even if it wasn't originally meant to be fretless. The brass nut hasn't seemed to have gotten in the way of the string height off the neck.
If you enjoy fretless and Spector separately, you'll like them together.

This is not an issue of keeping one or the other, I have absolutely no intention
of getting rid of the Euro. I got it for a reason, I know that it is a much better sounding bass, and Im absolutely in love with the wood finish, and the smooth feel of the neck is quite nice. I know I will be used to the fret spacing in no time.
The issue is simply whether or not it would be worth keeping the Legend. Im used to it, Im comfortable playing it, I like the feel and overall look of it and quite frankly, Im not nervous taking it out of the house.
I just know that if I sold it, the money could be quite useful for other things...

Then I'd say use the Euro, don'y be afraid to bump it and when you develop a relationship with it let the Legend go.

As promised, the 'mod post'.
I've already replaced the 2EQ 18v Hazlabs cut and boost pre-amp in my Spector NS5XL. I have to own up to using a pre to get my tone to a greater extent. It works for me. I like the low mids to be emphasised and seldom use bass or treble boost so the Euro was always vulnerable for some similar surgery.
The standard U-Retro fitted the 3 hole NS and I tucked the two switches away into the cavity (it'll only be used in active mode anyway). I got John to combine the separate volume and blend on the U-Retro Deluxe 5 knob to give me 4 knobs to fit the Euro and to include a passive/active pull on the added passive tone control (effectively a Sadowsky VTC).
So I now have vol/blend, mid cut and boost with sweep, treble cut and boost with bass boost and treble bright 'pull', passive tone with passive only pull (passive tone works in active too.

This is going to be a little off topic but, ... If anyone out there has an older Spector Euro 5-string with dots on the fingerboard and a 34" scale, would you be able to take a measurement from the nut to the center of both pickups for me? Thanks in advance.
