SPECTOR legend vs classic 5 string

im looking to buy a spector either 4 or 5 string on amazon but i noticed something strange about the prices.

the 5 string costs 400

in the description it says classic but also is labeled
LG5STDBLSG and i assume the "STD" in the middle means standard

and the standard 4 costs MORE 450

to summarize id like to know the difference of the classic and standard model, and if anyone can tell which of the two the 5 string is thanks.

Responding pretty late, but that first one is not a classic, it's a standard. That color is not on the classics but it is on the standard and the bridge is the standard, the classic uses the locking bridge. Either way both were priced well, especially the 5.

I'm trying to decide between the Standard Vs Classic 5 right now. I have a Standard 4, and it's a pretty nice bass..but unlike the standard 4 vs classic 4, the 5's seem to have the same pickups as each other..the classic 5 is 200 dollars more, made of different pieced wood, and seems to have a different pre-amp and hardware. I've played a 'classic 5' before..but it had EMG HZ pickups and no Spector tone-pump. I had to set up the locking bridge on it in order to play it..and I wasn't a big fan of what i had to go through with it...though I guess that in theory, the locking bridge is superior.
Which did you go with?
