I have always been a fan of the Spector NS-2. This version of that classic is really nice for the price and has the classic US EMG pickups. I love that little D shaped neck. It reminds a bit of those little Peavey necks from back in the day. At $1,200-$1,400, this is a very nice option for a classic four string. I had such a good time playing it, I keep forgetting songs.

I used to have the first run NS Pulse 5. It was a great instrument! An easy match for anything American made. It had a bit of a neck dive though. I’m glad they did away with the dot inlays.

What I don’t fancy is the artificial product differentiation with the body shape and headstock shape.
