Spinners............

bbs_rsgt_dbk.jpg

 beautiful and functional

I had various BBS rims on my autocross cars. They don't survive hitting a cone, let alone the riggers for 4 wheeling.

Guys, I was kidding and if I wasn't, I would need heavy duty offroad spinners :) Right now the Wagoneer is getting a full brake job, new everything including axle seals, stainless lines, etc., etc. I was hoping to have a lift kit installed at the same time, then some wheels/tires. I just found out this morning via Email that the lift kit will be 4-6 weeks out. So, that part of the project is on hold :hmm: I'll be sticking with my stock wheels for now :

It's probably one of the biggest "look at me" wastes of money I've seen. Might as well get "lambo doors" that only go up 45 degrees, fake vents that are obviously applied with 3m double sided sticky tape on the fender, a stereo that can only produce bass and treble frequencies(my dog loves those!), a leopard print steering wheel cover, candy paint(applied from a spray can directly over rippled bondo), and tint so dark you can't even see out. If you have any outstanding body work and engine problems, don't worry about that stuff just yet. :ninja:

Half the spinner wheels are big pieces of crap anyways with a HUGE markup. My brother-in-law works at a wheel/tire shop and he just loves selling those things. We're talking $800 sets of rims selling for $2000-3000. Nice profit. And in six months, when the spinners stop working right, you'll be stuck with some pretty ******** looking cheapass wheels.

You talkin' 'bout my ride?!?:D BTW, I love the nerf bars!
