I've been looking for split coil pickups for a while and have discovered some bass pickups worth their price however the sizes for screw hole spacing is weird as the ones I have eyes for are ones that fit the box size but not the screw bit pointing out. its too small 46mm whereas my old pickup nodes have a length of 60mm (around) and I'm wondering if it is worth drilling new screw holes as i cannot find any split coil pickups that fit my bass (Gear4Music Chicago bass [IK its cheap]) and I'm on a tight budget for pickups that fit (budget is £40)
the screw hole spacing has to be around 65mm and the length form node to node has to fit under 70mm. the link to the newer pickups is here
Invalid Link Removed (i haven't bought them yet I'm just wondering if drilling new holes is worth it).
