Splitting distortion signal and clean signal

Hey, I want to split my bass signal, one line that's distorted and one that's clean. This is mostly just to keep the low end, whilst still keeping a growly sound.
How do I do this?

My setup is as follows:

BASS > Korg Tuner > Boss OD > EHX Bigg Muff > Boss NS1 > MXR M80 DI+ > Wireless reciever > AMP

So, I'd like to split the distortion signal from the MXR.
I'm bad at this stuff, so simple explanations please!

Boss ls2, a+b mode. Put your dirt in channel a and leave b empty. Their are more expensive options too, with more intuitive controls but the ls2 is a basic mixer to blend clean and dirty signals.
