Splitting Signal with Keyboard

I'm working on a new setup for performing and recording. I've played with guitarists who have split their signal between two amps with no problems.

My idea is to use the same kind of plug (with two 1/4" female jacks and one 1/4" male jack) to plug in my bass and keyboard into the same signal path. The signal path so far involves a compressor, wah, multieffect, and harmonic intermodulator, but I don't know if those would make any difference.

Any idea if this setup could lead to electrical problems, or if it is feasible after all?

your keyboard might sound a little bassy depending on your eq setup and all on your amp but otherwise I think it might work, though you may have better luch with a small mixer than just a straightup y cable.

Good to hear compadre. Any suggestions for a good small mixer to use? The only ones I've seen with EQ is the Electro Harmonix Mini Mixer. Any decent two-channel mixers with EQ?

A mixer would work, and it would help you even out the levels.
Your (line level) keyboard output is probably much hotter (louder)
than your instrument level output of the bass.

An A/B/Y pedal connected in reverse should somewhat work, but I
wouldn't recommend a Y-cord for this application at all.

Not 2 channel but there are quite a few decent quality 4-8 channel mixers that are quite inexpensive and always handy.
I have a Behringer 6 channel that I use live and a 12 channel Mackie in the studio. The EHX you mentioned is primarily geared for gtr players and would not serve your needs.
