Hey everyone. I made a post on Reddit, asking for feedback on what are some great basslines from the 80s. I wasn't looking for technical ability, memorable hook, or any other parameters. Just asking the question and letting people reply with their favorites. (Some of you here may have replied to that thread)

“What A Fool Believes” and “My Sharona” were from the 70’s. What about synth basslines, do they count?

There’s some joe Jackson on that list, but almost nothing from look sharp, which is loaded with great bass tracks.

I vote for fools in love. Very fun.

Great list. "Ain't No Stopping' Us Now" and "Rapper's Delight" were both released in 1979.
