Spring In Australia - Not what you would expect....

Most people outside of Australia (and also most of those that live here) think that it's always hot and dry everywhere.

Where I live it can be a little different to the rest of the country. Our town is the main feeder to the two NSW ski resorts 30 mins drive away and we're currently experiencing a very good storm. So far we've gotten 70cm up in the resorts in the last 24 hours with much more to come. It doesn't snow much here in town but below is what we woke up to today.

Nice view. At least your moving towards warmer weather.
We're on the downhill side of Summer here in the Northern lands.

Yeah..... as I said, we don't get much here in town.

Compared to other countries we don't get much up the mountain either. That 70cm in a day is HUGE here....:laugh:

I've skied Alaska, Canada, Japan, China and New Zealand. In Big White in Canada a 70cm dump is pretty normal, and in Japan it happens regularly.
