This is a early 2000's Squier Precision Bass 5 String in Shoreline Gold.
In almost new condition.

Weight 10.2
Nut 2"
String Spacing 19mm

Will also entertain trades for 4 and 5 string instruments of similar value. Particularly interested in SBMM 4's and 5's.

In the 90’s I traded a G&L 5 string for one of these. I Liked it so much I started researching its development.

Apparently it was originally designed by an in-house Fender developer who later went on to start his own company.

I routinely got compliments on tone by house audio techs and I loved the wide flat neck. The active version that came later didn’t have that tone.

It's a great player natural / black pickguard
Maple neck I could string it with chrome flats or round wounds

I had one of these and it was super-fun! I gigged it a fair amount. I needed just a tad more string spacing but if you like 18mm (std Fender), great deal here!
